UK Indirect Tax Director(14 Month FTC) - Global Media Company - London (Hybrid)

About the Team:

The tax department of this leading global media company oversees tax reporting, compliance, and advisory services across all regions.

An experienced indirect tax specialist is now being recruited to cover a parental leave position, providing leadership and expertise during this period.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading all aspects of indirect tax and reporting to the VP, Tax (UK)
Coordinating and reviewing material UK VAT returns, including for a large UK VAT group
Supporting the Shared Service Centre VAT compliance team on technical advisory and controversy matters across the UK and internationally
Providing technical VAT input for ongoing international finance transformation projects (ERP and tax engine implementation)About You:

The ideal candidate will bring substantial years of UK tax experience, ideally gained in a large multinational or professional services firm, with strong expertise in UK and international indirect tax and its impact on VAT compliance and reporting processes
