Responsibilities and duties of the Technical Sales Manager role
Reporting to the Mechanical/ Electrical Directors, you will be responsible for:

Strengthening the company's relationships with existing customers by understanding their requirements to position our services to meet those requirements
Developing new business opportunities, extending the client base and producing new business growth
Making presentations to promote new products and services
Compiling quotations and sales specifications.
Working closely with the management team to review and refine the sales strategy in light of market intelligence
Advising on after-sales service
Carrying out competitor analysis and understanding their products and services
Development and delivery of a Sales Strategy
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Proven background in Sales / Business Development Environment
Power Generation / Engineering experience
Personal skills
The Technical Sales Manager role would suit someone who has:

Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
Good oral and written communication skills
Good telephone manner
Knowledge of sales pipeline development, comes with a strategy to open doors
Sales pipeline management
Must be able to use IT proficiently (Microsoft suite) to ensure sales administration process is completed efficiently
