FN UK are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the efficient flow of goods. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and dedication to maintaining a safe and organized stores environment will play a key role in the success of our operations.

Reporting to: Stores Supervisor

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Receive, check, and organize stock deliveries.
• Accurately pick, pack, and issue materials or products to meet operational requirements.
• Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper storage of goods, adhering to safety and organizational standards.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) or pallet trucks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the store area.
• Report any stock discrepancies or damage to supervisors promptly.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment (preferred).
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Basic IT skills for stock management systems and documentation.
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to handle heavy lifting when required.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a stores/warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification (optional, depending on the role).
