Description

You'll deliver end-to-end audit engagements for a diverse client base, undertaking fieldwork, preparing audit files, reviewing junior staff work, and ensuring compliance with audit and accounting standards. You'll work closely with managers and directors, contribute to process improvements, liaise directly with clients, and collaborate with other service lines to deliver joined-up advisory and compliance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead audits from planning through to completion

* Review working papers and mentor junior team members

* Prepare statutory accounts and audit documentation

* Present audit findings and recommendations to clients

* Maintain compliance with professional and regulatory standards

Profile

Successful Candidate

* ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

* Solid background in audit within practice

* Confident managing audits and developing junior staff

* Strong communicator with client-facing experience

* Proactive, team-orientated, adaptable, and committed to high-quality delivery

* Comfortable commuting to the firm's Stoke office
