About the Role

We are working on behalf of Power NI, part of Energia Group, Northern Ireland's most trusted energy supplier, and have exciting opportunities to join the team as a Sales & Retention Specialist. Reporting to the Sales and Retention Team Leader, you will join a high-performing team focused on acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones across both the residential and commercial markets.

This is an exciting opportunity for motivated sales professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will engage with customers through outbound calls, providing a positive and customer-focused sales experience while promoting relevant products and services.

The role operates within a hybrid working team, so you will need a suitable home working setup and reliable broadband connection.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales & Retention Specialist, you will:

* Engage with customers through outbound calls to acquire new business and retain existing customers

* Promote and up-sell relevant products and services

* Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused sales experience

* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

* Work towards individual and team sales targets

* Ensure all activities are completed in line with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

* At least 1 year's experience in sales and customer negotiation

* Excellent communication and listening skills (verbal and written)

* Strong numerical ability and attention to detail

* Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

* A suitable home working environment with reliable broadband

Desirable Experience

* Experience making or handling outbound sales calls

* Knowledge of the Northern Ireland electricity market

* GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (Grades A-C)
