Staff Nurse - Complex Care and Brain Injuries

Location: Bury, Lancashire

Salary: £28,194.70 - £32,300.73 per annum (£14.45 - £16.56 per hour) - negotiable depending on your experience

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)

Shifts : Options of Days only (7.30am - 7.45 pm) or Nights only (7.30pm - 0745 am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified or experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD, to work within fantastic Complex care and Brain injury Rehabilitation and Recovery Hospital. Located in spacious grounds just outside Bury, Lancashire, the Centre offers excellent care and support allowing the greatest opportunity for patients to regain their maximum capabilities. The Hospital has excellent bus links to all local services. The service provides a relaxed and homely setting within a modern and vibrant environment. The Hospital has an Excellent or Good CQC rating across all areas. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training. They have an extremely high staff to patient ratio

Service Details: This Hospital is a low secure inpatient rehabilitation and recover service for males and females with mental health needs The Hospital is one of two sites close by to each other and are as follows:

Unit 1 - 19-bedded neurorehabilitation service for patients aged 16 years and over -

Unit 2 - 5-bedded children's unit for those aged 0 -17 years

Unit 3 - 28-bedded adult continuing care unit for patients aged 18 years and over

There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training provided - the Hospital director is experienced and has been with the service for a significant amount of time. She is very focused on staff development and works hard to make sure staff feel valued and are recognised for their hard work.

Shifts : The Service can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Their shift pattern is 7.30am - 8pm (days) and 7.30pm - 8am (nights) and you will receive 2 hour break. Please state if you have any preferences on your hours and/or shift pattern in your application.

Location : The Service is very easily accessed by car. They are a 2 minute walk from a local bus stop down one straight road. They have free parking on site. Many employees cycle to work
