We are on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer with mechanical maintenance skills to join our client in the Sheffield area.
This is a permanent position.
Working a Continental pattern of both day shifts & night shifts (day shift: 6 am - 6 pm & night shift: 6 pm - 6 am)
Salary: £47,000
The role:
* Implement the strategic plan for the site with the factory team
* Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
* Address mechanical and electrical breakdowns on-site
* Fault-find on PLC-controlled production equipment
* Support site teams, ensuring compliance with company legislative requirements
* Update and work from the site CMMS
The Person:
* Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance
* Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering or similar discipline
* Competency in using IT systems effectively
* Local to Sheffield
This role would suit someone who has been in a multi skilled engineer, electrical engineer, electrical technician, electrician, shift engineer role
