Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Hours: Monday-Friday early/late shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)
Pay: £20-£23 per hour DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Avonmouth. This HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter role offers strong hourly pay, Monday-Friday shifts, regular overtime, structured manufacturer training and a clear progression pathway while working across HGVs, LGVs and trailers to DVSA and manufacturer standards.

The Role:
• Service and repair HGVs, LGVs and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Complete inspections, planned maintenance and documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe and productive workshop
• Stay updated with technical training and product updates

The Requirements:
• Experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (Class 1 desirable)
