Axon Moore are delighted to be recruiting for a brand-new Property Finance and Admin Assistant role with a well-established property business based just outside Manchester city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, forward-thinking team in a dynamic and growing business.

As a Property Finance and Admin Assistant, you'll play a key part in supporting the Block Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of residential apartment blocks. The role involves a blend of admin, financial support, and customer service, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in staying organised and proactive.

This position is perfect for someone with strong administrative skills, a confident phone manner, and good working knowledge of Excel. If you've worked in property or dealt with service charges before, even better, but full training will be provided.

Salary: Up to £30K base salary

Location: Central Manchester

Main Duties:

Manage the enquiries inbox, responding to leaseholder queries about budgets, service charges, and statements.
Assist with preparing and explaining accounts and audited financials (training provided).
Support with budget preparation, invoice processing, and chasing payment arrears.
Liaise with contractors, raise work orders, and help coordinate building inspections.
Maintain accurate digital records of correspondence, contracts, and site visits.
Book site visits and attend occasional property inspections alongside the Block Manager.
Allocate payments, update spreadsheets, and ensure financial records are accurate.
Act as a key support for the Block Manager in day-to-day operations across a small portfolio of residential blocks.

Person Specification:

Previous experience in administration - ideally within property, block management or finance.
Confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general office systems.
A clear, confident communicator, both written and verbal.
Willingness to learn and develop understanding of property and service charge processes.
