D & R Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated health and safety advisor to join their team. The company itself is based in Middlewich and are a local chemical manufacturer and recycling plant.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a hand on, pro-active individual who can work as part of team and individually. This is very much an active role and is ideal for someone who has a good knowledge of the below:

* Risk assessment- a good knowledge of reading/ following and producing risk assessments.

* General operations- comfortable and experienced in dealing with the general daily operations of a chemical/ recycling plant.

* COSHH & PUWER- fully up to date and knowledgeable on the regulations.

* Audits- basic knowledge and experience on conducting internal audits.

Ideally, the successful candidates will possess the below:

* 2-3 years' experience in general certificate, ideally NEBOSH or close to.

* Strong health and safety knowledge

* Clued up in environmental knowledge.

* COMAH/ATEX preferred by not required.
