Production Supervisor - Bury St Edmunds

My client are looking for a Production Supervisor. This is a full-time opportunity, working onsite in their site just outside Bury St Edmunds. They are looking for someone with experience working in a high output production environment. Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including responsibility for all lathe machines and associated ancillary equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve component machining issues in collaboration with the Lathe team to ensure efficient production.

+ Work closely with the Lathe Area Production Supervisor to support, motivate, and drive the department in achieving output and performance targets.

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives, providing recommendations where feasible.

Experience Required:

+ Technically sounds - experience operating some of the following: lathe machines, ancillary equipment, CNC Machines

+ Experience working as part of a 24/7 production environment

+ Experience working in a high output production environment

+ Ability to sold technical issues, utilising your mechanical knowledge

+ Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015)

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Salary: Up to £50k
