As an HGV Technician with us, you'll be instrumental in keeping some of the UK’s largest brands on the road, entrusted with inspections, maintenance, repairs, and servicing of our clients' fleets.Key Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and fix electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
· Overhaul electrical components and equipment
· Perform welding and metalworking tasks (if authorized & qualified)
· Utilize advanced machine tools and equipment (if authorized)
· Conduct Department of Transport (MOT) testing (when suitably qualified)
· Manage parts ordering and stores inventory
· Mentor and support Apprentice Technicians
· Maintain precise job records and details
· Ensure workshop equipment is in top working condition
· Uphold rigorous health, safety, and cleanliness standardsSkills & Experience:
· NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance or equivalent
· Strong customer service mindset
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
· Self-motivated with a strong drive to excel
· Proficient in comprehensive repair and servicing techniques
· Diagnostic skills and qualifications are a plus
