Traffic Engineer - London - £40.00 per hour (Umbrella)

A London Borough is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to deliver a range of traffic schemes from feasibility through to implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Traffic & Engineering team working on high-profile transport initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver traffic engineering schemes from concept to completion
Provide professional and technical advice across transport projects
Support and supervise junior staff
Contribute to programmes including Liveable Neighbourhoods, cycling and bus improvements, road safety and parking schemes
Prepare designs, drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Traffic Engineer within a Local Authority
Strong design experience using AutoCAD
Knowledge of traffic management, highways design and relevant legislation
Ability to manage projects and stakeholders effectively
