Brand Manager (Bay Area) - Exciting Industry, Dynamic Company Culture

Job Description



The Brand Manager plays a key role at Orchid Essentials by creating brand awareness and excitement with our partners and customers. The position is summarized in three main categories: Providing product education to consumers and distribution partners, the utilization of promotional events to create brand awareness, and account development through a strategic sales process. The Brand Manager is also responsible for providing support to key partners and aligning themselves with the overall strategy of the account.




Territory Management


  • Meet and/or exceed provided sales goals

  • Comfort with CRM Software and daily usage

  • Develop high-quality relationships with retailers within an assigned territory

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

  • In-depth understanding of the company's current products and future concepts

  • Ability to articulate customer needs and partnership offerings

  • Ability to cold call and activate new accounts or relationships

  • Meet CRM store visit requirements

  • Spend 60% of the Brand Managers time nurturing current accounts, 40% of their time on new business prospects




  • Must be 21 + with a valid driver's license

  • 3+ years experience in account management / Sales

  • Experience selling into retail, or equivalent account management experience

  • Cannabis industry experience is preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent applicable experience

  • Analytical mindset coupled with a strong business acumen

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, process-oriented, and well-organized

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Possesses a strong, current portfolio of cannabis industry relationships

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems
