Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children in Key Stage 2? SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to be recruiting exclusively for a warm, community-focused primary school in Hackney. They are currently seeking a committed Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately for the remainder of the Summer Term.

This rewarding role involves working across two Year 4 classes and includes 1:1 support for a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You'll be joining a positive, inclusive school environment where teamwork and pupil wellbeing are top priorities.

About the Role:

🎓 Support learning across two vibrant Year 4 classrooms

🧠 Provide targeted 1:1 support to a pupil with SEMH needs

🤝 Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and wider staff

🛠 Help implement behaviour and learning strategies tailored to the child's needs

🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:50pm (term time only)

Ideal Candidate:

✅ Experience in KS2 settings, especially supporting pupils with SEMH/SEND

🌟 Calm, patient, and nurturing personality

💬 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

🔄 Flexible, proactive, and ready to be a key part of a collaborative team
