Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Exeter, seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department from September 2025. This role is full-time with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community that values creativity, practical learning, and high academic standards.

The Role:

Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that promote healthy living, nutrition, and life skills

Maintain a safe and well-organised food tech classroom environment

Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

Contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Specialism or experience in teaching Food Technology

A creative and practical approach to teaching and learning

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
