Job Title Branch Manager

Location Essex

Our Client is an independent Owned builders' merchant that has been supplying plumbing, building, heating and sanitaryware products for over 100 years.

Job Description

* Accountable for the financial and non-financial performance of your branch.

* Implementing the agreed company strategy for your branch.

* Managing and coaching sales strategies to achieve sales & gross profit targets while also improving customer loyalty.

* Protecting and growing the brand awareness of the company in the marketplace.

* Ensuring your branch operates to the highest Health and Safety Standards and regulations (you will be supported by our head of operations and external HSE advisor).

Skills

* A proven and successful track record supervising or managing a builders merchants branch

* Good industry knowledge of the building trade and associated products.

* A proven track record of successfully implementing sales strategies that grow sales and gross profit performance

* Good customer service and relationships with key suppliers and employees.

* Experience dealing with a broad cross section of customer types such as trade, retail, house builders, contractors, local authorities etc.

* Natural leadership skills that your colleagues respect and want to follow.

* Knowledge of using Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.
