Are you a motivated Civil Engineering graduate eager to build your career? You would join a respected London-based civil and structural engineering company known for delivering some of the capital's most prestigious developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and supportive project team where you'll gain broad exposure across site operations, project coordination and commercial awareness. The role is ideal for someone with long-term aspirations in Site or Project Management who is keen to develop both technical and leadership capabilities from day one.


The Opportunity

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and managers, contributing to the successful delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects across London.

You'll gain hands-on experience while developing an understanding of:

  • Site operations and project coordination

  • Engineering and technical compliance

  • Quality assurance and documentation

  • Health, safety and environmental standards

  • Programme and resource management

  • Stakeholder communication and reporting

You'll be encouraged to take ownership of responsibilities appropriate to your level, while receiving structured mentoring and professional development support.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on project requirements, your involvement may include:

  • Supporting site-based engineering and technical activities

  • Assisting with planning and programme tracking

  • Contributing to quality control and compliance processes

  • Reviewing drawings and technical documentation

  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers

  • Assisting with progress reporting and project documentation

  • Participating in project meetings and coordination activities

  • Supporting commercial awareness through measurement and material tracking

This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, helping you develop the commercial, operational and leadership skills required for progression into Site or Project Management.


About You
  • Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)

  • Some practical site experience (placement, internship or graduate role advantageous but not essential)

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Eager to learn and take responsibility

  • Commercially aware with an interest in project delivery

  • Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress into management


Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with common engineering software and surveying principles

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Awareness of planning or project management tools is beneficial
