Teaching Assistant – KS1

Are you an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding KS1 role after Easter? Reed Education are working with a well-established primary school in the DN4 area, seeking a dedicated TA to support their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

• Supporting teaching and learning across KS1
• Working with groups and individuals to raise attainment
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
• Providing targeted SEN and EAL support
• Occasionally stepping up to deliver class teaching when required
• Collaborating closely with teachers and the wider academy trust

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience within KS1
• Is confident leading small groups and supporting whole-class learning
• Is comfortable taking the lead with class teaching when needed
• Understands a wide range of SEN needs
• Has strong knowledge and experience supporting EAL learners
• Is reliable, proactive and passionate about primary education
