Oliver James has partnered with a household-name financial services institution to recruit an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their high-performing technology function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and optimising cloud and DevOps capabilities across a major enterprise environment.

• Drive the delivery, optimisation, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring reliable deployments across complex environments.

• Manage and automate infrastructure using tools such as PowerShell, YAML, and Azure CLI.

• Support and improve Microsoft cloud platforms, including Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform.

• Apply best practices in cloud governance, security, and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to embed DevOps principles across the organisation.

• 3+ years' experience working in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and DevOps methodologies.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, architecture, and cloud best practices.

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, release automation).

• Additional experience with Power Platform and SharePoint development or administration.

• Familiarity with enterprise financial services environments.
