Your new companyHays Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established Primary and Pre-school in Ellesmere Port as they require a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support in the EYFS/Reception class. This is a long-term contract that will last until the end of the academic year.Your new roleIn your new role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the reception class teacher. You will work under the instruction of the class teacher to effectively manage the classroom and behaviours of pupils as well as to promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment . You will work with your new pupils on a 1:1 and group basis, offering additional support to students as required. You will take a lead on learn through play, phonics, sensory and speech and language development. You will liaise with the class teacher on pupil progress.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered with your application you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as referenceable experience working with children and young people, as well as:

• Experience working with children between the ages of 3 - 5
• An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in early years is advantageous but not essential
