Description

Overseeing the development of manufacturing processes.
Conducting routine inspections and quality tests.
Identifying and implementing process improvements.
Ensuring products meet customer expectations and legal standards.
Collaborating with the engineering team to brainstorm solutions to quality issues.
Participating in the design and modification of product prototypes.
Analysing quality control data and making recommendations for improvement.
Reporting to management on quality standard issues.Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

A degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Working knowledge of core quality tools including FMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA & PPAP
An understanding of lean techniques and methodologies
An ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Operation of a CMM / Faro arm
Ability / experience with PolyworksJob Offer

A competitive salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum.
