Job Title: General Yard Operative

Pay: £12.72p/h (Overtime rate at £15.90 after 45 hours)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, day shift - 45 hours a week 
Transport: Own transport required due to the location and shift times

Role Overview
Gap Personnel is recruiting for reliable and hardworking General Yard Operatives to join a well-established Environmental and Waste company in Norfolk. This role involves working in a hands-on rola in a fast-paced environment. As a General Yard Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring everything is running smoothly and maintaining the highest standards of safety in line with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Loading, Unloading, Processing and Transporting a variety of materials, 

Conducting regular checks on machinery and work areas,

Assisting customers on site and offering excellent customer support and care,

Supporting with any reporting and paperwork as nessesary,

Following all health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

Must have previous experience within a hands on role

Comfort with working in a fast-paced and physically demanding role.

Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work varied shifts.

Own transport is required due to the location and shift times.
