Assistant Fitter | 4on 4off | Bonus + Great Perks
Salary Circa: £30,000
Shifts: 4on 4off (40.25 hour week)
Overtime: Available
Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to support fast-paced operations? We're looking for 2 Assistant Fitters to join a high-performing, safety-focused engineering team at a large, industry leading site.
🔩 What You'll Do:

Support the Lead Fitter with planned maintenance, repairs, and breakdown response
*
Help maximise uptime across a busy plant with ferrous/non-ferrous separation lines
*
Monitor equipment, complete stock checks, and ensure safety compliance
*
Tidy, track, and report - you'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly
What You'll Need:
*
Maintenance experience (industrial or similar)
*
Strong work ethic, great communication, and eagerness to learn
*
MIG welding skills and/or forklift license are a bonus (training can be provided)
*
Comfortable using Excel and Outlook
