KPI Recruiting are delighted to be recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our well-established client based in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a fast-paced transport operation, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Transport Administrator, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the transport office. Your duties will include:
- Manage transport-related emails and customer enquiries
- Handle POD processing, including scanning, matching, filing, and retrieval from portals
- Record and report delivery discrepancies
- Maintain accurate paperwork and database records
- Liaise with drivers, internal teams, and external contacts
- Respond to customer queries in a professional and timely manner
- Support export and customs documentation where required
- Answer incoming calls and communicate operational updates
- Promote good health & safety practices
- Assist colleagues and raise any operational concerns
What We’re Looking For- Previous administrative experience (transport admin preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Good understanding of paperwork compliance and due diligence
- Confidence liaising with multiple internal and external contacts
- Knowledge of export legislation (desirable but not essential)
