Stores Operative / Yard Operative / FLT Driver (Manufacturing Environment)
Monday-Friday 06:30-16:00 OR 07:30-17:00
47.5 hours per week (39 paid at £13.28 p/h and 8.5 paid at £19.92 p/h)
£35,736.48 per annum
Lutterworth area (Own transport required)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores/Yard operative
You will be joining an established business within the Building Materials industry, the direct team is small and friendly and you not be micro managed - we are looking for somebody who can use their own initiative.
Please note, this is not a pristine shed in Magna Park, it is an all weathers roles working at a building materials factory. Therefore any experience in an Manufacturing or Building Materials Stores would be highly beneficial.
Duties will include:
- Receiving, quality checking and counting incoming stock
- Stock control - stock checks, counts and investigations
- Picking and loading customer orders
- Operating the Counterbalance FLT
- Ensuring the correct space and weight when loading vehicles.
- Using the computer systems (SAP) and hand scanner
- Liaising with customers regarding deliveries and collections
- Other supporting duties
What you will need to be considered:
- Previous Stores OR Yard Operative experience
- Computer literate and proficient in learning new systems
- Drivers licence and FLT licence - essential
- Team player who can work to your own initiative
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Good verbal and written communication - you will be speaking to customers.
