Driver Care Coordinator/ Customer Service Advisor

My Client are currently looking to recruit a Part Time Driver Care Coordinator (Customer Service Advisor) to handle enquires from a wide variety of fleet customers regarding their vehicle maintenance. This is a part time role that totals 18 hours per week broken down into following shift pattern. Sat 1pm - 7pm Mon 8am - 2pm or 9am - 3pm Tues or Fri 8am - 2pm or 9am - 3pm You will be part of a Family run, global business that are located within commutable distance from Bristol, Chippenham, Swindon, Trowbridge and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities. Take incoming calls from customers who wish to organise service, maintenance and repairs to their company vehicles Organise and book service, maintenance and repairs with the appropriate suppliers Take incoming calls from customers who have had an accident, take relevant claims information and ensure this gets to the correct recipient Receive calls from customers who have broken down and ensure that recovery vehicles are organised promptly Organise courtesy vehicles or make first arrangement for rental vehicles Take calls from vendors to obtain agreement on next actions for overnight jobs Schedule other ancillary services as required Keep customers and other interested parties informed of progress Manage general administration tasks that do not impact drivers as determined by the line manager Escalate any concerns to the department Team Leader Experience and Qualifications Experience of working within a customer service related role is essential, ideally in a service or contact centre environment; experience in motor industry is desirable but not essential Experience of working within a pressurised environment, with the ability to remain calm, empathetic and professional in difficult situations Experience working in a call centre environment is highly desirable. Comfortable working to targets and proven experience of working to deadlines Ability to deal with a variety of situations with diplomacy whilst remaining calm Candidates will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service.
