A well-renowned national contractor has secured a £65m high-rise development on the outskirts of Cardiff and is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial team.

The project is currently four weeks into a two-year programme. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial and contractual delivery of the scheme, managing a small team and reporting to an off-site Commercial Manager.

Requirements:

* 6-8+ years' experience with a main contractor

* Strong knowledge of D&B JCT contracts

* Experience with high-rise or student accommodation projects desirable

The client is open to experienced commercial leads or an ambitious Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, with support and mentoring available.
