Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £30,000.00 per annum

Job Description

Our client, a dynamic and creative organisation, is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the handling, transportation, and storage of a wide range of goods. A key part of your role will be to lead a team, manage stock and transport goods to various locations.

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Team Leader

* Act as a supervisor for a team of Warehouse Assistants.

* Carefully load, transport, and unload a variety of items, including fragile goods.

* Drive confidently around Gloucestershire and Central London, with European driving experience being a bonus.

* Play a key part in the smooth daily running of the warehouse.

* Undertake regular stock checks.

* Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to all tasks.

* Use diverse practical skills and experience to handle a variety of items.

* Drive to new and unfamiliar locations with confidence.

Key Skills of a Warehouse Team Leader

* Must have a clean and full driving license.

* A forklift truck license is an advantage, but a willingness to gain one is essential.

* Experience operating and using a wide range of tools and machinery is advantageous.

* Computer literate and knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office packages.

* Experience with design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is desirable, but not essential.

* Able to work paid overtime when required.
