As Group Finance Reporting Manager, you will play an instrumental role in safeguarding the financial health of the organisation through meticulous oversight of group-wide reporting activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating closely with various finance teams to ensure seamless consolidation of monthly and annual accounts. You will take ownership of statutory account production across multiple entities, coordinate external audits, and provide invaluable technical guidance on IFRS matters. By championing best practices in process improvement and data integrity within core financial systems, you will help drive operational excellence. Your ability to nurture talent within your team will be crucial as you foster a culture of continuous learning and shared success. This position offers you the platform to influence strategic decisions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across diverse jurisdictions.

  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of all group financial reporting using the group consolidation system, ensuring robust governance and control at every stage.
  • Prepare comprehensive group balance sheet and cashflow items, conducting analytical reviews and proactively resolving any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate the production of statutory accounts for both group and local entities (including offshore jurisdictions), managing the audit sign-off process efficiently.
  • Provide expert technical accounting guidance across the group, supporting colleagues with complex queries and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate your finance team by providing clear direction, regular feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Deputise for the Group Financial Controller at meetings, events, and project teams as required, representing the finance function with professionalism.
  • Demonstrate exemplary behaviours aligned with the organisation's leadership competency framework while always adhering to ethical standards and company policies.
  • Maintain registers of filing requirements for all companies in the group, standardising review processes to guarantee timely submissions in each jurisdiction.
  • Support budget preparation and forecasting activities by delivering accurate cash flow reports and working capital management insights.
