Are you a recent graduate looking to start a career in education? We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bolton from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
This role is ideal for graduates who are considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or SEND support.
About the Role: -
Provide classroom-based support to pupils across Key Stages 1 and/or 2

Work closely with the class teacher to assist with lesson preparation and delivery

Offer individual and small group support to pupils, including those with SEND needs

Help create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment

Support with the management of pupil behaviour and engagement

Assist in tracking progress and development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: -
A degree (any discipline, preferably related to education, psychology or child development)

Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in a school, tutoring, mentoring or youth work setting)

A genuine interest in education and supporting children's learning

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

A positive, proactive and resilient attitude

An understanding or interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
