We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 in schools within the Sedgemoor area.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning, confident working across year groups, and able to commute within Sedgemoor. Experience working with children, particularly in a school or nursery setting, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Support class teachers in delivering high-quality lessons

Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs

Assist with classroom management and organisation

*

Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

*

Help prepare teaching materials and resources

*

Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and development

Requirements:

Experience working with children in a primary school or early years setting

*

A calm, patient, and proactive approach

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills

*

Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

*

Ability to commute to and work across schools in the Sedgemoor area
