Export Customs Broker

Role description - depending on experience

* Export Customs Clearances

* NCTS Transit T-Forms

* Using related software such as Destin8, CDS, NCTS, CNS, Descartes

* Administration Tasks

Hours of work:

* Monday - Wednesday (Apply online only)hrs

* Thursday - Friday (Apply online only)hrs (until finish - can be later)

Oncall requirement:

Weekday - Monday to Thursday / 1 night in 4 - separate allowance paid.

Weekend - Friday Evening and Saturday / 1 in 4 weekends (colleague gets the following Monday off for working this).

Person specification:

* A confident and approachable person

* A high level of organisation and attention to detail

* Ideally 1-2 years' experience in customs entries (Will consider no experience if necessary)

* Desirable - experience in Port Health/Licences/ATA Carnets

* Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service

* Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads

* A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team

* IT literate

* A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
