Our client in North Preston are a packaging and distribution company mainly within Fast Moving Commercial Goods Market! FMCG) are looking to bring the Accounting function inhouse. The client is looking for a Part Time Qualified Financial Controller/Management Accountant to take control of all Financials within the business.
This role is working closely with the Managing Director of this rapidly expanding SME business.
Location: Preston
Hours of work: 16 - 25 per week negotiable however flexability is required
Job Type: Part Time
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Managing Director and Management Teams
- Sales and overhead forecasting
- Day to day running the company finances - day to day accounts
- Payment processing
- Credit management, invoicing, cash collection
- Balancing, management of banking
- Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts
- VAT Returns and advising on Taxable savings (HMRC)
- Project work across the business
- Payroll
What they are looking for
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
- SME Experience is essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills.
- Energetic, positive, and able to meet deadlines.
