They specialise in originating, developing, constructing and operating critical energy and infrastructure projects, supported by a strong in-house team. With a significant portfolio already under development, they are now entering the next phase of rapid growth, expanding their team to deliver projects and explore emerging opportunities in the market.

The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Associate to join the team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to all stages of renewable project development with a focus on early-stage market analysis, innovation and partner engagement.

You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives and building relationships that will help shape the future direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Market Opportunity & Intelligence

* Research, identify, and prioritise emerging opportunities across the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

* Monitor industry trends, policy developments and competitor activity.

* Maintain a structured market intelligence database.

* Business Case Development

* Prepare feasibility studies for new projects and partnerships.

* Develop and present business cases with clear recommendations to the wider team.

* Innovation & Community Programmes

* Run internal initiatives around innovation, excellence and community engagement.

* Host monthly meetings and working groups to drive continuous improvement.

* Partnerships & Engagement

* Build relationships with key partners, advisors, and suppliers.

* Support outreach, engagement and follow-up communications.

* Attend meetings, events and industry networking opportunities.

* Maintain a contact database and relationship management records.

About You

The ideal candidate will be motivated, curious and eager to build a career in the renewable energy sector. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team, with a strong ability to communicate and build meaningful relationships.

Preferred Skills & Experience

* Ambition to work within renewable energy business development.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new systems.

* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

* Awareness of the energy sector and market trends.

* Prior experience in business development or the energy industry is advantageous
