You’ll also have the opportunity to influence pricing and planning processes while working within a supportive team.The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and site teams across a range of projects, ensuring effective cost control, procurement, and contract management. Duties

• Monitor and manage project costs
• Assist with procurement and sourcing materials
• Prepare and review tender documents, including bills of quantities and SORs
• Maintain accurate site records and track progress
• Support with contractual, health and safety, and environmental compliance
• Liaise with site teams for accurate paperwork submission
• Support payment collection and dispute resolution
• Review subcontractor quotes and process applications for payment
• Record, price, and manage variations and change orders
• Work closely with the Senior QS to deliver projects on time and within budget

The Candidate

• 1–4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (ideally within construction/civils)
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar (or working towards one)
• Practical mindset with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and realistic expectations of site work
