Thrive Group are seeking a dedicated Workshop Assistant to support our local client's team in various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of manual skills and mechanical knowledge, enabling them to contribute effectively to their projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle some heavy lifting and is comfortable using hand and power tools. This role is to start ASAP and will be on a temp to perm basis.

Duties
- General odd jobs in workshop
- Assemble equipment and components according to provided schematics.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Perform equipment repairs as necessary, utilising both hand tools and power tools.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Some mechanical knowledge, particularly in assembling and maintaining equipment would be beneficial
- Experience with heavy lifting, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
- Being from a workshop / engineering environment is a plus but not mandatory.
