Full-Time Support Worker - 5-Bed Mixed Gender Children's Residential Home 🌟

📍 Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
🕒 Position: Full-Time - 12-Hour Shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am, including weekends & sleep-ins)
💷 Salary: £26,325 per year (plus overtime and sleep-in enhancements)
📅 Start Date: Immediate start available

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to children and young people? Join our team at a well-established 5-bed mixed gender children's residential home in Stanford-le-Hope.

We support children aged 8-18 with learning disabilities, providing a safe, nurturing environment where each young person is empowered to reach their full potential.

👶 Your Role:

As a Support Worker, you will:

Deliver high-quality, personalised care to children and young people of all genders
Support with personal care, education, social skills, and daily living activities
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate records and work within safeguarding frameworks
Participate in community activities and outings
Work flexibly across 12-hour shifts:
Day shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm
Night shifts: 7:00pm-7:00am
Including weekends and sleep-ins on a rota
Overtime available✅ Essential Requirements:

Experience in a residential care setting
Full manual UK driving licence held for 2+ years with no points
Clean Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
Full flexibility to work across day, night, weekend, and sleep-in shifts
Strong communication and team-working skills
Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children🎓 Desirable:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
Understanding of autism, sensory needs, and positive behaviour support💼 What We Offer:
