Multiskilled Warehouse Operative

Are you looking for a variety within your role? We are looking for a Multiskilled Warehouse Operative to join our dedicated and hard-working Day Warehouse team!

Working hours are 06:30 - 16:30 on a rota basis working 5 shifts out of 7.

You will be working on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of 28,632.76 per annum.

To be successful for this position you will need to have had previous experience operating fork lift trucks and reach trucks and experience within a warehouse or despatch role.

What you will be doing:

• Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles on a daily basis.
• Completing preshift checks on all MHE equipment and notifying management of any defects
• Picking customer orders and replenishment of stock
• Assessing the quality of produce being sent to customers, to ensure best quality
• Ensuring the yard is organised and areas easily accessible, whilst maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
• Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to, within the warehouse and the yard at all times.

What skills and experience you will need:

• You will need to have experience operating a FLT & Reach trucks
• A current FLT licence would be an advantage, however refresher training ill be provided
• You will have good communication with an ability to understand and follow instructions
• You will be a team player but the ability to work independently
• You will be selfmotivated
• You will be respecting of safety rules and regulations
