We are seeking experienced Welders to join a structural steel contract based in a fabrication shop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with FCAW experience, ideally with a background in marine, oil & gas, or offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high‑quality welding on structural steel components.
Work accurately to engineering drawings and project specifications.
Carry out FCAW welding tasks
Maintain safe working practices at all times in a fabrication shop setting.
Assist with fabrication tasks as required.
Meet project deadlines and contribute to efficient workflow.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in FCAW and solid wire welding.
Ability to pass the required weld test -A downhand butt weld and a fillet on the vertical.
Previous experience in marine, oil & gas, or offshore industries is highly desirable.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to fabrication shop procedures.

Pay Rates

Umbrella / CIS

Standard rate: £23/hr
Overtime (x1.5): £34.50/hr

PAYE

Standard rate: £17.17/hr + £2.07/hr holiday pay
Overtime (x1.5): £25.76/hr + £3.11/hr holiday pay
(Holiday pay can be accrued or advanced)

Additional Information

Overtime is regularly available and currently being worked.
Strong potential for the contract to extend beyond the initial 4 week period.
