We're currently hiring an Electrician to join a specialist team In Portsmouth, providing temporary electrical supplies, lighting, and shore connections to Royal Navy and entitled vessels.

You'll be part of a dedicated Shore Connections Team, working on electrical installations for ships undergoing maintenance and supporting major events. This role includes both on-site installations and workshop prep, fault checking, and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. You'll also produce installation diagrams and liaise directly with customers to ensure top-quality delivery.

£35,000 - £38,000 salary DOE, with a 37-hour work week and excellent benefits.

What do you need?

NVQ (or equivalent) in electrical installation and inspection

Recognised apprenticeship and ideally 17th (3rd AMD) or 18th Edition BS7671

Full UK driving licence

Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and smartphones)

Proactive attitude and excellent communication skills

Full right to work in the UK
