We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bradford that is looking to appoint an inspirational Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2026.

You will play a key role in supporting learning across Nursery to Year 6, delivering PPA cover and providing both planned and emergency classroom cover when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver PPA cover and classroom lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

* Provide planned and emergency cover across the school (Nursery-Year 6)

* Create a positive, structured and engaging learning environment

* Support teachers with planning, resources and lesson preparation

* Assist with assessment, SATs administration and tracking pupil progress

* Work in line with school behaviour systems and promote a positive ethos

* Liaise with teaching staff, leadership and the school business manager

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* HLTA status or significant classroom experience

* Strong experience delivering or covering whole-class lessons

* A confident, proactive and adaptable approach

* Excellent behaviour management skills

* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
