Salary: £20000 - £25000/annum
An innovative company based in Holmes Chapel are looking for a 1st Line Support to join them on a permanent basis. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support remotely to customers, software installations and hardware support.
Other responsibilities will include acting as the 1st point of contact for the support helpdesk, logging / escalating tickets and managing systems / internal networks.
The position is primarily an office-based position initially with scope for some flexible home-working in the future.
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in an IT Support / Helpdesk role
Experience with Windows, IT Networks, SQL
Knowledge of PC hardware
Strong troubleshooting abilities and the ability to explain technical terms to non-technical users.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Enthusiasm and the desire to develop existing skills.
