Head of Manufacturing Compliance

An industry leading food manufacturer.
A new role in the business allowing you to carve out the position and progress as the role develops and evolves.
You can be based anywhere in the UK provided you're commutable to one of the sites - there's over 30 of them so there's a good chance you will be.What you'll do

You'll work across core business units, forming part of and working closely with the wider Operational Excellence & HSE Teams, identifying operational and compliance training needs as well as highlighting and resolving any risks to the business across operations and engineering - enhancing business performance and protecting against noncompliance.
Implement a newly created compliance agenda to drive continuous improvement across all key production areas.
Work closely with Audit and HSE departments to understand key challenges, create sustainable solutions and implement compliance policies.
Stay informed about regulatory changes to maintain current knowledge of compliance requirements.
Create a standard methodology and framework for business continuity planning and crisis management pertaining to operations and engineering.What you need to know

Experience within food manufacturing and the ability to form operational compliance processes is a key requirement for this role - ideally across multiple manufacturing, technical and HSE departments.
A strong understanding of operations in a manufacturing environment and driving commercial operational improvements.
Strong communication skills with the credibility and gravitas to work cross functionally and influence the embedding of new processes.
