Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Day Shifts

Salary: £34,000 per annum (£36,000 with ADR)

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Driver to work at their Birmingham site. This is a day shift position with a competitive annual salary of £34,000, rising to £36,000 for ADR-qualified drivers. The role involves delivering goods in a safe, timely, and professional manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles in line with UK driving regulations

Carry out deliveries and collections as scheduled

*

Ensure accurate completion of all delivery paperwork and reports

*

Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects

*

Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

*

Must be over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)

*

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

*

Driver CPC qualification and valid Digital Tachograph Card

*

Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations

*

ADR certification desirable (higher salary applies)

*

Strong time management skills and a professional attitude

Monday to Friday
