Field Service Engineer ( London & South West ) £50,000 - £65,000 + Package

Location: London & South East (field-based)

Salary: £36,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + company van, tools & benefits

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing organisation within the recycling and sustainability sector. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of specialist equipment across the region.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and commission equipment at customer sites

* Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs

* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

* Provide professional on-site customer support

* Complete service reports and documentation accurately

* Manage parts, tools, and stock effectively

* Travel across assigned regions as required

Skills & Experience Required

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a field service or engineering role

* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

* Experience working with electromechanical equipment

* Ability to read technical drawings and manuals

* Good problem-solving and fault-finding ability

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

Desirable (but not essential)

* Background in vending machines, recycling systems, or similar equipment

* Electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

* Basic IT skills for reporting and diagnostics
