We're seeking a passionate Head of Department for Design & Technology to oversee Food, Graphics, Resistant Materials, and Textiles. You'll play a key role in driving curriculum innovation, improving outcomes, and ensuring students develop real-world skills through engaging, hands-on learning.

As Head of Department for Design & Technology, you'll:

Lead and inspire a talented team across multiple D&T disciplines

Develop an ambitious curriculum that nurtures creativity and technical confidence

Support staff development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Manage department resources and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Requirements:

QTS and strong teaching experience in at least one D&T specialism

Proven track record of raising achievement across KS3-KS5

Leadership experience or clear readiness for middle leadership
