Hales Group has an exciting opportunity for a Managing Consultant to join their established team in Thetford, Norfolk. We are looking for a recruitment professional with great people skills and the drive to chase targets and performance-related bonuses.
You will inherit an established desk with active clients and will be responsible for attracting candidates for jobs and matching them to temporary or permanent positions. You'll build positive relationships to gain a better understanding of your clients' recruitment needs and advise clients and candidates on the job market. You will also be responsible for managing a team of consultants to ensure the branch achieves agreed levels of business activity and target income levels; driving marketing and sales initiatives to existing and prospect clients; identifying and managing underperformance of staff through one-to-ones and coaching and taking overall responsibility for the branch budget and performance.
As a Managing Consultant, you're the vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse but also exciting as it is fast-paced and target driven. Work is office based but time is also spent outside the office, meeting with clients and interviewing candidates, therefore a smart personal appearance is important.

Experience in the recruitment industry is preferred and for this particular role, we would welcome applications from Recruitment Consultants who are looking for an opportunity to progress their career into management. However, applications are also welcomed from those without recruitment industry experience, providing they demonstrate previous success within a client-facing sales role as well as the right combination of skills and personal qualities.
