We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent contractor operating in the UK renewable energy sector, with a strong track record delivering large-scale solar PV construction and O&M projects across the country. With significant growth in clean energy and a strong pipeline of utility-scale projects, the company is expanding its health and safety function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant Health and Safety Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation and play a key role in maintaining high HSEQ standards across multiple live sites.

Key Responsibilities

Support the safe delivery of solar PV construction and O&M projects
Assist with development and implementation of RAMS, audits, inspections, and toolbox talks
Promote a proactive safety culture on-site and across teams
Ensure ongoing compliance with CDM 2015 and current UK Health & Safety legislation
Maintain and update health & safety documentation, including incident reports and performance data
Support internal training and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements

NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or working towards)
Experience in construction, civil engineering, or energy/infrastructure projects
Working knowledge of UK HSE law and CDM Regulations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable

Experience in solar PV, renewables, or utilities
TechIOSH, GradIOSH or similar professional affiliation
