SEND Teaching Assistant - Dukinfield, Tameside - September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Dukinfield, Tameside, as they look to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant from September 2025.

This full-time, long-term role will involve working closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs, providing both 1:1 and small group support. The school is proud of its supportive ethos, strong teamwork, and commitment to ensuring every child thrives.

• Delivering personalised support to pupils with SEND in class and within targeted interventions

• Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND (essential)

• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
